My questions about gatsby

1. Does Nick really not judge anybody?

2.How did Gatsby get rich?

3. Does Daisy not care that tom is cheating on her or does she not know?

4. Why do people think Gatsby's a killer?

5.  Were the people in the car crash at the party?

6. How come Daisy isn't mentioned in the book for a while?

The Fury of Tom

“Daisy!
 Daisy!
 Daisy!”
 shouted Mrs. Wilson!
“I’ll say it whenever I want to!
 Daisy! Dai ——”

Making a short deft movement,
 Tom Buchanan broke her nose
 with his open hand.

Then there were bloody towels
 upon the bath-room floor
, and women’s voices scolding
, and high over the confusion
a long broken wail of pain.

Old money vs. New money

There is a big difference between people who have been rich forever  and people who recently became rich.

People who have been rich forever just assume that the money is always gonna be there. They don't appreciate the money they have.1000 dollars for a pair of shoes no biggy and then they'll only wear them once. They don't mind spending money on things that they don't want or even need just so others cant have it. Instead of spending it on unnecessary items they should give money to charity or start a scholarship fund.

People who win the lottery that came from a background where they never had a lot of money, I feel, like they appreciate the money more. They wont spend it on lavish things, of course their gonna spoil themselves but not to extreme, they will know what they don't need and they wont buy it.  I know if i won the lottery I would pay off my house, all the money I owe, maybe buy a new car and save the rest for college. If I ever get rich id give some money back to my community.

Don't judge a book by its cover

Outward appearances are deceptive. We all judge people by the way they look but at the same time we don't want to be judged ,especially in high school all we want is to fit in and have friends. If someone looks gangster most assume there dumb, when in fact some of the gangsters  I know are really smart. If they look nerdy we assume there smart but in some cases that's not true. Its like the saying " don't judge a book by its cover" just because people dress a certain way doesn't mean that they are what they seem. The typical barriers of cliques are almost non existent as I see it at schools today, gangsters hanging out with skaters, skaters hanging out with preps basically every clique is starting to hang out together and close the typical stereotype barriers of society. Sadly in America we value the dollar so much we base our entirely life on trying to get the most money as we can. Our yearning for the dollar is so substantial that it will only end on our death bed.

Marrying someone for their money is something I've seen,my uncles richer then the average American and he has had so many wives he could start a basketball team. I don't want to  upset anyone but gold-diggers do exist and it upsets me to see that happen, I mean how shallow can someone be to marry someone just for the money. Money isn't important to me when I make a decision when it comes to love. But at the same time beauty dose, what I mean is as long as I found her beautiful it doesn't matter what others think.
