The Fury of Tom

“Daisy!
 Daisy!
 Daisy!”
 shouted Mrs. Wilson!
“I’ll say it whenever I want to!
 Daisy! Dai ——”

Making a short deft movement,
 Tom Buchanan broke her nose
 with his open hand.

Then there were bloody towels
 upon the bath-room floor
, and women’s voices scolding
, and high over the confusion
a long broken wail of pain.

  3. I like how the second stanza introduced the slap so it made it appear as it were not a big deal, but the third points out how bad it actually was.

  4. I like how you started with the words so that the cause of the slap would be shown. Next time you maybe you should add more words?
